Flygt Stainless D8000 serie

Pumping corrosive wastewater containing a significant amount of solid and/or fibrous materials poses a considerable challenge for a pump. For this application, Flygt adopted the stainless steel design from Robot Pompen; this company merged into the former ITT Water & Wastwater in 2010 and is now Xylem. Flygt has made a number of modifications, naturally including the use of its own standard materials, such as the mechanical seals and motor details. These stainless steel submersible pumps are designed not to shy away from severe challenges in the field of fluid handling. Flygt has a pump for every application tailored to the specific requirements of the work in question; furthermore, they are reliable and cost-effective.
The Flygt D 8000 is a highly reliable submersible pump that transports
corrosive media in a cost-effective manner. The Flygt D 8000 is made
entirely of AISI 316 stainless steel and features a vortex impeller with
a large free passage that ensures consistent performance over extended
periods with trouble-free operation and minimal maintenance. The Flygt
D 8000 is designed for demanding environments and easily transports
corrosive media for municipal wastewater and industrial wastewater,
with up to 500 ppm chlorides, just as easily as for a wide range of
applications in the chemical, food processing, pharmaceutical, textile
industries, and not to mention construction.
